Arsenal fear being crowded out in the race to sign West Ham captain Declan Rice.
The Sun says the Gunners had drawn up a 300,000-a-year package for Rice and were planning to offer 80m to West Ham.
But while it's suggested Rice favours a move to Arsenal, West Ham's asking price could prove too rich.
With Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool also keen, West Ham are demanding over 100m to sell the midfielder.
Indeed, they could insist on more than the 120m Chelsea paid Benfica for Enzo Fernandez in January.
