Arsenal are planning a move for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
The Belgium international is expected to leave St Mary's after their relegation this past season.
Lavia only arrived a year ago from Manchester City.
The Guardian says Arsenal are keen as they seek to strengthen their central midfield options.
Their pursuit won't effect Arsenal's talks for West Ham captain Declan Rice.
