Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says they must use last night's Carabao Cup defeat at West Ham as motivation for this weekend's clash with Newcastle.
The Gunners go to St James' Park for a Saturday evening game.
Arteta said, Obviously, the game started pretty well for us, we had total control, but the goal changes a lot of things, and even though I didn't think it was a goal, it's not an excuse for the rest of the performance.
For sure, we have to use the pain that we've felt today to make sure that we're on our best again on Saturday because that's what's going to be required to win.
But it's also a good experience to feel the pain and when we're not at our best, the performance has to be very different compete and to earn the right to win the game."
