Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta confirmed that Kai Havertz is set to hand the team a major injury boost and is on course to make his comeback “earlier than expected”.
It comes as the north London side prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain for the UEFA Champions League Semi-Final at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, 29 April.
Havertz tore his hamstring in February. It was expected he would be out for the rest of the season, but Arteta appeared to confident he would be available if Arsenal reach the final.
