Free agent Ashley Young is set to have an Everton medical.
The veteran fullback is available after being released by Aston Villa and has agreed contract terms with the Toffees.
Young had also been in talks with Luton Town, but opted for Goodison Park as his next destination, says BBC Sport.
The 38 year-old won the Premier League and FA Cup with Manchester United, as well as the Serie A title with Inter Milan.
He will become Sean Dyche's first signing as Everton manager.
