Everton are in talks with free agent Ashley Young.
The veteran fullback was released by Aston Villa last Friday.
Young has fielded contact from Luton Town, but Sky Sports says Everton are also now in talks.
Negotiations are now underway between Everton and the 37 year-old's agents. Young has turned down several offers from other Premier League and Championship sides.
In the 2022/23 season, Young made 32 appearances in all competitions and provided 1 assist.
