Steven Gerrard says Aston Villa are still 'working behind the scenes' on incoming transfers.
The Villains have booked a Carabao Cup third-round meeting with Manchester United after beating Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday.
Douglas Luiz, Danny Ings, Lucas Digne and Leon Bailey got on the scoresheet for Villa.
Speaking after the game, Gerrard said: "We're working behind the scenes on a few different situations to try and make the team and the squad stronger and better prepared from now until January."
