ASUS Malaysia just rolled out two new business devices, which are the ExpertBook PM3 Series laptops and the ExpertCenter P500SV desktop, for modern organizations to handle daily operations with AI-driven performance, enterprise-grade security, and rugged designs
First, we have the laptop representative, the ExpertBook PM3 series available in 14-inch (PM3406) and 16-inch (PM3606) models that pack up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 processor inside a 1.36kg chassis.
Hosting a 70Whr battery, they maintain MIL-STD-810H durability, come with upgradable DDR5 memory, dual-SSD expandability, and a WUXGA anti-glare display with up to 88% screen-to-body ratio.
One can also find the AI-powered ExpertMeet suite, which offers real-time translation, automated meeting summaries, and advanced noise cancellation, while ExpertGuardian provides enterprise-grade multilayered security with TPM 2.0, BIOS safeguards, and Windows Secured-Core certification.
Additionally, the lightweight yet tough magnesium-aluminum builds, reinforced chassis, spill-resistant keyboards, and shock-tested drives have made these machines popular with enterprises that demand long-term stability. On the desktop side, the ExpertCenter lineup is designed for 24/7 operation with features like solid capacitors, tool-free chassis, and rigorous temperature and vibration testing.
On the desktop side, the compact 8.6L ExpertCenter P500SV offers serious horsepower with up to an Intel Core i7 processor, optional discrete GPU, and support for up to 64GB of DDR5 memory.
It’s designed to run quietly too, with advanced copper heat-pipe cooling keeping performance at just 30.8 dB – quieter than rustling leaves. Its energy-efficient fan controls and 80 PLUS certified PSU make it a good fit for offices and classrooms.
Like the PM3, it also comes with ExpertMeet and ExpertGuardian for collaboration and security, plus long-term IT stability with up to five years of BIOS and driver updates. Expansion is easy thanks to front-facing USB-C and USB-A ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, RJ45, and PCIe/M.2 slots.
Both machines had their “tankyness” certified through the Superior Durability Tests, containing up to 157 procedures that go beyond standard quality checks. On top of that, both devices were also pushed through 28 demanding trials under the US military-grade MIL-STD-810H standard, simulating extreme heat and cold, vibration, dust, altitude, and even explosive atmospheres.
