Atasha Muhlach and Emilio Daez champion wellness through community

Atasha Muhlach and Emilio Daez joined a community run to launch the “Superbod Life” initiative, a wellness program that expands the long-running “Superbod” campaign beyond its annual competition and into year-round fitness activities.

Held in partnership with Megaworld, the event marked the campaign’s 20th anniversary and brought together participants of different ages and fitness levels. The initiative aims to encourage healthier lifestyles through a supportive community, both online and offline.

The launch followed the first “Superbod Era” Strava Challenge, which drew more than 58,000 participants. According to organizers, the response underscored the demand for accessible spaces where people can pursue their fitness goals while connecting with others.

The “Superbod Life” community is built around three areas: “Move Super,” which offers fitness guidance and group activities; “Fuel Super,” which focuses on practical nutrition tips and meal ideas; and “Live Super,” which promotes sustainable wellness habits and overall well-being.

“We realized that many people, especially beginners, hesitate to start their fitness journeys because they often feel like getting into fitness is complicated — like it is something only a few can access and pull off,” said Carlo Endaya, vice president, general manager and group business head of Century Pacific Food Inc.

“The Superbod Life community was built to change that perspective. It is a safe space where members can learn and be inspired by peers going on the same journey and from experts who can guide them toward their health goals. At Century Tuna, we truly believe that everyone has the potential to reach their ‘Superbod Era’ — they just need the right place to start,” Endaya added.

Muhlach said the community stands out because members inspire one another through their shared experiences.

“This community is exactly what Filipinos need in their fitness journey, and I am blessed to be part of something this big,” she said.

“What makes Superbod Life so special is that inspiration doesn’t just come from brand ambassadors like us, but from the real-world stories, shared struggles and genuine experiences of the everyday people you’ll meet in the community.”

Daez said convenient meal options can help people maintain healthy routines despite busy schedules.

“I finally have a nutritious meal I can take anywhere to my runs or gym sessions,” he said. “With the Century Tuna Super Bowl, it’s a ready-to-eat meal option that perfectly fits an on-the-go professional schedule.”

The launch also coincides with the opening of pre-registration for “Superbods 2026.” Interested participants may sign up online ahead of the on-ground casting call at Space at One Ayala in Makati City on June 27 and 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
