MANILA, Philippines — A freshman student of the Ateneo de Manila Law School died after he fell from the fourth floor of a condominium building in Taguig City.
The Taguig City Police said that the incident took place at about 10 a.m. on Sept. 18, 2026. The 24-year old victim died on the spot.
Taguig City Police chief Col. Julius Anoñuevo said they are investigating if the death is a case of suicide.
Anoñuevo said that when police investigators arrived at the scene, they found the victim already lifeless.
Anoñuevo appealed to the public not to preempt the investigation in view of reports circulating in social media that the victim committed suicide.
