MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has suspended face-to-face (F2F) classes in public and private schools on Monday, September 21, because of activities related to the observance of the anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law.
"Based on the recommendation of the Manila Police District, various gatherings, marches and activities in various parts of the city in commemoration of the 54th anniversary of Martial Law are expected so we deemed it best to prioritize the safety of our students," the mayor said in Filipino on Facebook.
"Let us all take care, Batang Maynila!" he said.
