Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde admits tonight's clash with Atletico Madrid is important for both teams.
With the World Cup break approaching, a positive result could be crucial for both clubs' European hopes.
"It's a match that all the players want to be involved in," Valverde said at his pre-match press conference.
"We want to have a great night in front of a sold-out San Mamés. We're expecting a fantastic atmosphere and we hope to be up to the task of getting a good result against a top opponent."
Atletico have picked up five wins, one draw and two losses so far in 2021/22 and Valverde warned they would push Athletic to the limit.
He said: "Atletico Madrid like to impose themselves physically. They've scored in all their away matches this season. They're very clinical and they don't need many chances hit the back of the net.
"It will be a difficult match, but we'll give it our all. We want to stay high up the table and winning tomorrow will help us do that."
