Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde was delighted after their 4-1 win at Elche on Sunday.
Alex Berenguer and Nico Williams were among the goalscorers for the visitors.
Valverde said: "The team did what all coaches want them to do. We were accurate, we arrived well and conceded very little.
"The game went against us early on and they felt the blow. As time went on we felt stronger. We managed the second half well, we conceded more than I would have liked, but we kept our position despite the goal we conceded. I am satisfied.
"We are having more success. The team has a similar line in every game, we can score goals and we are showing it. We have to continue on this path. We've only had five games for it to be a significant sample. The points and victories are a consequence of the work we do. We have ten points and, although we may have dropped a few, we have to keep going."
