Athletic Bilbao president Jon Uriarte admits they're in a "bad" financial situation.
Uriarte made the comments in a video to be shown at next week's Assembly.
“As we have seen in the video, Athletic's situation is bad. We are in a negative inertia that has been dragged on for a few years," he said.
"For example, in the last three seasons. Without extraordinary income derived from the sale of players, there has been a reduction in assets and in the provision of 110 million euros. This represents a figure of around 37 per season.
“We have to manage to correct this negative inertia. You have to balance income with expenses and make Athletic something sustainable. It is a reality that is not new, it is known. We have already been analyzing this for a long time, for ten years, but not because it is known should be left aside. It must be faced urgently and corrected as soon as possible."
