Kota Kinabalu: Atlet Sabah memenangi dua gelaran pada kejohanan Ultimate Armwrestling Championship (UAC) yang berlangsung di Singapura pada 17 Jun lalu.
Joffey Jolly merangkul gelaran lightweight dengan kemenangan 3-0 ke atas Joshua Tay dari Singapura dan Michael Ford turut mencatatkan kemenangan 3-0 ke atas atlet dari Filipina, Mark Louis Ben, untuk merampas mahkota super heavyweight.
Dua lagi atlet Sabah, Jolly Johnson yang bersaing dalam kategori middleweight dan Calveen Petrus dalam kategori heavy weight gagal memenangi perlawanan mereka,
kedua-duanya tewas 0-3 kepada lawan masing-masing, Glad Chang dari Taiwan dan Book Sutiwat.
