Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was pleased with their 3-1 win at Copa del Rey win at Lugo.
Memphis Depay struck twice, with Angel Correa also scoring.
Simeone said: "The two goals (for Depay) are very important. He lives for the goal, may his work continue to improve.
"He has a great class, he is very important and he must move forward from work, first, and from the goal, later.
"When I review the game I will evaluate it better. I congratulated (Javi) Galn for his drive, his desire, his enthusiasm, his desire to compete, his rebellion.
"I wasn't surprised (by Lugo). They competed very well, playing and winning most of the duels. Something that is going very well for them."
