Girona coach Michel was delighted with their 2-0 win at Copa del Rey opponents Elche.
Danny Blind and Yan Couto scored for Girona on the day.
Michel said: "Very satisfied with the qualification.
"We have suffered a lot, but we are in the second round and now we will see which team we get. There is a squad to compete in two competitions. We have no obligation to win either, but we are excited about both.
"I'd like a home draw so that our fans can at least experience one round.
"There is no euphoria in the locker room. We have to be humble and we want to continue improving. From the doors outwards, let people enjoy."
