Atletico Madrid defender Jose Maria Gimenez is happy to have committed to a new contract.
The Uruguay international has signed a deal to 2028.
Gimenez has played 290 games for Atletico, scoring 12 goals. He has now been an Atleti player for a decade.
Should he fulfil his contract, it will mark 15 seasons as an Atleti player, having made his debut as an 18 year-old.
Gimenez is currently recovering from a thigh strain.
