Atletico Madrid GM Miguel Angel Gil Marin says they were satisfied with Saturday's 1-1 draw at Real Madrid.
However, there was also great anger over Angel Correa's dismissal for a clash with Real defender Toni Rudiger.
Gil Marin said: "They did a great job, with a lot of solidarity, which, together with the talent we have, meant that we were very close to winning the game.
"I would have loved to know what would have happened if we had been together 90 minutes with eleven players. I imagine that it was like the millions of viewers who followed the game around the world, but unfortunately we were left with the desire.
"It is not worth insisting anymore. I already said it a few weeks ago and I confirm it word for word. Yesterday it was more of the same again. It is unfortunate! We always suffer from this type of performances against this team due to the pressure that is permanently exerted on the refereeing team.
"It is not reasonable that it is so difficult for a referee to send off one of their players even though the play is clear and without room for interpretation, as happened in our last game on this same field, and that yesterday it was so easy to unjustly dismiss ngel Correa."
