Joao Felix's future at Atletico Madrid is facing fresh speculation.
The Portugal attacker has battled for a regular start under Atletico coach Diego Simeone, despite the Argentine's admiration.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said on his 'Here We Go' podcast: "Joao Félix loves Atlético de Madrid but he understands that he needs to play.
"The situation is tense between Joao Félix and Atlético de Madrid, especially between Joao Félix and Diego Simeone, of course, because he's not a starter, he's not playing a lot.
"The reality is that from Atlético de Madrid they insist that Joao Félix is not for sale and is a key player for the club. They want the termination clause of his contract, which is 350 million euros. They have no intention of negotiate.
"But the reality is that on the player's side, with the agent Jorge Mendes, they are trying and exploring the market to find some potential solutions for 2023."
