LAHAD DATU: Marine police foiled an attempt to misappropriate Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in an operation at a premises in Jalan POIC, here, on Thursday.

Sabah (Region Four) Marine Police Commander ACP Nazri Ibrahim said six tonnes of CPO, worth RM114,800, were seized.

He said two men aged 30 and 43 were in the midst of transferring the CPO from a tank to barrels at the back of a lorry during the 3.50pm operation.

Nazri said both men were detained for investigation under Regulation 5(1)(b) of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board Regulations 2005.
