Chelsea have reassured Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang about his role at the club.
A favourite of Thomas Tuchel, the ex-Arsenal star was signed just ahead of the transfer deadline.
But Tuchel was sacked this week and replaced with Graham Potter.
However, The Telegraph says Aubameyang has been assured he will play a key role in Potter's team.
The 33-year-old has been told he was not just signed to appease Tuchel.
Aubameyang made his debut for Chelsea in Tuesday's loss to Dinamo Zagreb, Tuchel's final game in charge of the club.
