Manchester United have pulled out of the running for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
The Mirror says United are out of the running for Maguire after being told he would cost a world record 100million.
United were keen to land the England centre-back and make him a cornerstone of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side at Old Trafford.
But they only valued Maguire in the region of 60million - and were left stunned when Foxes chiefs demanded an initial 90million - plus 10million extra in add-ons.
Maguire cost the Foxes just 17m when he joined them from Hull in 2017 and has gone on to establish himself in the England side.
Now it remains to be seen whether champions Manchester City are prepared to meet Leicester's valuation, as they seek a replacement for Vincent Kompany.
