Ayala Land Hospitality is boosting its presence in nature-based and urban tourism markets as it continues to develop the firm’s hotel and resort portfolio in El Nido, Palawan and Makati.
The hospitality arm of Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) said four of its properties were included in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide hotel selection, providing recognition across two distinct segments of its portfolio.
“We are deeply honored to have four of our properties recognized by the MICHELIN Guide. It is a meaningful affirmation of the teams behind these hotels and island resorts, and the care they put into every guest experience,” Ayala Land Hospitality Chief Operating Officer Gustavo Morales said.
“What makes this especially meaningful is the diversity of the experiences represented here. From our island sanctuaries in Palawan to our luxury hotels in Makati, each property has its own character and sense of place, while sharing our commitment to thoughtful, distinctly Filipino hospitality,” he added.
Lagen Island and Pangulasian Island in El Nido, Palawan, as well as Raffles Makati and Fairmont Makati, were named among the properties in the latest selection.
The four properties reflect Ayala Land Hospitality’s approach of developing differentiated experiences around the character of each destination, with its Palawan resorts centered on nature and its Makati hotels serving the country’s major business and lifestyle district.
The developments come as Ayala Land Hospitality continues to manage a portfolio that combines homegrown hotel brands with international partnerships.
In Makati, Raffles Makati and Fairmont Makati represent two of the company's international hotel partnerships in the country's established business and lifestyle hub.
The company said these properties form part of a broader strategy to bring different hospitality experiences to destinations shaped by business, retail, dining, entertainment and residential developments.
The 2026 MICHELIN Guide selection gave Lagen Island and Raffles Makati Two MICHELIN Keys, while Pangulasian Island and Fairmont Makati received One MICHELIN Key.
The MICHELIN Key is the guide's hotel distinction based on factors including architecture and design, service quality, individuality, value for money and a property's connection to its destination.
On Tuesday, ALI’s share price fell by 6 centavos to close at P15.12 each.
