Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan (Warisan)’s Sepanggar candidate Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman denied claims by opponents that he neglected the voters.
“I am determined to help the people even if it’s out of my own pocket. I have never deserted my responsibilities like what my opponents are saying. I appreciate my supporters very much.
“It turns out that they closely follow my progress on social media as well as my debates in the Dewan Rakyat,” he said after visiting Kampung Darau Manggatal.
Azis said if given the mandate again he would remain focused on helping the people at the grassroots level.
“The Sepanggar Parliamentary area is huge (With 100,000 voters this time)…It’s an urban area and of course priority will be given to solving traffic congestion, water supply disruptions and the issue of squatter settlements,” he said.
