Kota Kinabalu: Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein must explain the delay since 2014 in the construction of 1,036 units of houses for the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) Sepanggar.
Parti Warisan (Warisan) candidate for the Sepanggar parliamentary seat, Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman, said he was informed of the issue regarding the lack of quarters for the Sepanggar TLDM which was one of the promises not fulfilled by Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 14th General Election (GE14).
He said TLDM members in Sepanggar now have to pay higher costs to find housing as they live too far from the Teluk Sepanggar TLDM Base
