The British brand Burberry, in its latest official Instagram posting shared an image of Sahib Singh with a caption, “Prepped for their next adventure: from outerwear to our Burberry Check, find back-to-school designs from the new #BurberryChildren collection”.
This new collection features a four-year-old London-based Sikh child model Sahib Singh.
We join everyone on the net in applauding Burberry for its advertisement showcasing its ‘back to school’ designs because this is the first time in the brand’s history that it features a Sikh boy in its promotional campaign.
In fact, the luxury brand has garnered a lot of applause for its inclusive campaign in its ‘Back To School’ kidswear campaign featuring Sahib Singh throughout the United Kingdom.
The brand casts Sahib Singh in a puffer jacket over a knitted cardigan and a T-shirt with shorts. He is also seen holding a teddy bear in his hand with his big brown eyes staring right into the camera. He looks just stunning!
The adorable images of this 4-year-old Sahib are winning many hearts on social media as was reported by businesstoday. in, on July 28. We are sure more will be drawn to the child model in due course.
Anyway, looking at these new campaign photos, we cannot help but compare Sahib in this advertisement with our own Bapa Fesyen Malaysia PM whom we have featured three times in this column wearing three different Burberry shirts.
Once when he was in Tokyo while meeting Singapore PM Lee, then when he made his appearance at the Jom Riuh campaign in Putrajaya and lately he was seen in a white long-sleeved shirt over lunch.
Having studied these two models extensively, our conclusion is that while Ismail Sabri looks good be it in white, blue or pinkish red shirts, Sahib Singh still wins hands down for being extremely stunning when compared to the sixty-something fashionable Prime Minister of Malaysia who may have been inadvertently acting as a mobile poster boy for Burberry brand in Malaysia.
Well done Sahib.
