The Santa Clara match was to be played on Saturday.
Barca's quad was scheduled to fly at 10.30 local time (19.30 in Spain) to Santa Clara to play their first match of their preseason tour.
The players who are not affected by this viral gastroenteritis will continue with their preparations.
Barca next play Arsenal in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
