Barcelona chief Mateu Alemany insists there's no rush over coach Xavi's contract.
Barca president Joan Laporta had said he wanted him to extend his commitment, while the coach said that now was not the time.
Rather interestingly, Alemany took the same line as his coach and refused to truly give questions on Xavi's future the attention that the journalists hoped.
"We are delighted with Xavi's work and leadership," Alemany confirmed.
"However, now is not the time to talk about this, at the end of the season we can do that.
"Now is the time to be focused on the team as we enter the final stretch of the season. We all have to be focused on the job we have."
