Barcelona coach Xavi admits they've missed Sergi Busquets this season.
Xavi says a lack of quality in the defensive midfield role has hurt them after Busquets' departure for Inter Miami.
He said, We've played many games without a natural defensive midfield pivot and that has damaged our season.
When we have picked Oriol (Romeu) or Andreas (Christensen) we've competed better. But, it's a coaching error. This lack of dominance in midfield has weighed heavily on us.
The target for next season is to have every position covered by two players."
