Barcelona coach Xavi is reluctant to lose Frenkie de Jong this summer.
However, Sport says he is willing to release De Jong if it meant they can finance the signing of Bernardo Silva, 29, from Manchester City .
The attacking midfielder has been on Barcelona's wish list for some time and the player himself is ready to move to Catalonia.
De Jong's contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2026.
Bernardo Silva's contract with Manchester City also expires in the summer of 2026.
