Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo insists victory over Las Palmas was deserved.
Barca won 2-1 with Ilkay Gundogan scoring an injury-time winner from the penalty spot,
Araujo said: "We are happy with the victory, we wanted to start 2024 like thi.
"Las Palmas is a very complicated rival at home, they normally always have possession.
"The first half was failed with the last pass, we grew in the second and I think we could have scored more goals."
The Uruguayan praised Vitor Roque on debut.
"He is a player who is going to give us a lot. You have to be calm with him but you can see the class he has."
And regarding the penalty, he had no doubts: "It seemed like a penalty to me. They pushed 'Gundo'. I'm happy he scored."
