Barcelona defender Jules Koundé has been registered in LaLiga and will now be available for the match against Real Valladolid on Sunday.
Xavi Hernández will be relieved, as he was anxious to be able to field the French centre-back as soon as possible.
After having presented three different appeals, the club has at long last received the green light from LaLiga to make the registration.
Koundé aims to continue as a starter, as he did last Wednesday against Manchester City in their Juan Carlos Unzue tribute match.
He has missed the first two games of the competition and the coach himself complained about it in a press conference, but the departure of Samuel Umtiti for Lecce has helped the club to resolve the situation.
