The teenage striker burst onto the scene earlier this season, scoring in both the LaLiga and Champions League.
Guiu currently has a deal to 2025, but Barca want to extend and upgrade the agreement.
Onda Cero says Barca want to tie down Guiu to 2030 in the coming weeks.
For his part, Guiu and his family are happy with Barca's plans, despite his management fielding enquiries from across Europe.
