Barcelona medical chiefs have cleared Pedri to play on Wednesday.
The youngster finished the season with an injury and so has not played since April.
However he's part of Xavi's first squad of the season, for the short trip north to face Olot on Wednesday at 7pm CET.
Pedri has been training for a few weeks and has the OK from the medics now.
His last match was the Eintracht Frankfurt defeat on April 14, with his last league game coming four days before that, against Levante.
