Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong is delighted to have been promoted to the leadership group.
De Jong has been named one of the new vice-captains.
"It's an honour to be one of the captains of this club. I'm very happy about this," he said.
On the US tour, De Jong added: "People are very happy to see us here and we are very happy to be with them again".
Bara end the tour against AC Milan.
"We have trained very hard this preseason and we are ready for the match against Milan, who are a great team," added De Jong. "They reached the Champions League semifinals last year."
