De Zerbi's representatives Edmundo Kabchi and Edoardo Crnjar met with Deco on Wednesday. The meeting was partly about the coach, but also Barcelona's centre-back Ronald Arajo .
Barcelona feel that De Zerbi has the right DNA to replace Xavi. The big problem is his buyout clause in Brighton, which is around 10 million.
Barcelona also appreciates that De Zerbi has no problem investing in young players, which is important for the club.
AS further reports Barcelona has currently scaled down the list of coaches to two names: De Zerbi and Hans-Dieter Flick .
