Barcelona president Joan Laporta has hit back to LaLiga counterpart Javier Tebas over the Negreira case.

Tebas has called for Laporta to resign if it is shown Barca paid former ref Enriquez Negreira's company for advice on match officials.

Laporta held a media conference today on the Nou Camp pitch and declared: I have to state that Mr. Thebes has already come to the fore once again. Some of you have already told us that it seemed that Mr. Tebas was already promoting a reputational campaign against Bara and against me. And in fact we ask him. He now he has already taken off his mask.

"Tebas has already shown his anti-Barcelonism, his phobia and his obsession against Bara. In case anyone doesn't know, in 2005, when I was president, he made a complaint so that (Lionel) Messi wouldn't play for Bara when he was vice president of Alavs. And he has had a track record of an obsession with Barca.

"I know that you do not forgive that we have not signed the agreement with CVC, an agreement that he promotes and controls; and we couldn't sign that because it wasn't good for Bara's interests. Nor does it support that we are in the Super League. Mr. Tebas has expressed his wish that I stop being president of Bara. What he wants is to dominate Bara from a distance, something he has done in recent years.

"I will not please Mr. Thebes. We are doing well and Mr. Thebes appears recurrently to destabilize us. I won't please Tebas because Bara is one of its partners."

He also said: Whoever dedicates himself to dirtying the history of Bara will have a forceful response from the club. As much as it takes. The history of Bara has been cemented through spectacular football. They have all worked hard to achieve excellence when it comes to playing. And as president and the whole club, we will not allow these attempts to dirty our history and they will receive a strong response."
