Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany holds no grudge against Cesar Azpilicueta.
After months of talks with Barca, Azpilicueta chose to commit to a new contract with Chelsea yesterday.
Alemany said this morning: "We are always in the market, it is obvious that we were interested in Azpilicueta but he had a series of agreements with his club that have not been fulfilled and he has decided to renew and we wish him the best.
"He was in a difficult situation."
Alemany also said: "The market and planning, we'll see what happens, we are focused on registrations and at the moment we are calm."
