Barcelona are ready to include a player in their offer for Villarreal defender Juan Foyth.
The Argentina international's agent was in Barcelona this week to meet with sporting director Mateu Alemany.
Villarreal have referred Barca to Foyth's €42m buyout clause, though the Catalans aim to drive down the cash price by including Alejandro Balde in their offer, says Cataluyna Radio.
Balde came off the bench for Saturday's 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
However, with a deal for Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso now close, Balde is dispensable and will be included in Barca's offer for Foyth.
