The agent of Villarreal defender Juan Foyth is in Barcelona today.
Jijantes FC reports Claudio Curti, Foyth's agent, was at Barca's training centre this morning for talks with their sporting director Mateu Alemany.
Barca are in the market for a versatile defender and Foyth's ability to play at centre-half and right-back fits the bill.
Villarreal will be reluctant sellers, though Barca believe they can tempt them with a bid of €25m.
For his part, Foyth is excited by the prospect of joining the Blaugrana. However, there will remain a battle with Villarreal's board which have little interest in parting with the Argentina international.
