FILIPINO pool legends Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes and Francisco ‘Django’ Bustamante are set to compete at the WNT ‘Legends’ set from January 21 to 23 at Gateway Mall in Quezon City.

Completing the field are two more billiard greats Earl Strickland of the United States and Ralf Souquet of Germany.

The event pays tribute to the golden era that inspired The Color of Money and helped shape the pool’s global rise.

Play runs across all three days, with scheduling designed to ensure each legend competes every day.

Matches will be played as a race-to-11 with alternate break at the venue where the Philippines Open was also held last October.

Reyes, also known as ‘The Magician’, won over 100 international titles in his storied career.

Bustamante likewise topped a slew of competitions, joining Reyes as the co-pillars of Philippine billiards that inspired the younger generations like Carlo Biado and Johann Chua.

Strickland and Souquet were the same for their respective countries.

Reyes, Bustamante, Strickland, and Souquet all battled each other throughout their careers, getting another chance to renew their rivalry in a competitive stage.
