BATANG KALI - The search and rescue operation (SAR)which enters its third day to look for more victims of the landslide tragedy at the camping site of Father's Organic Farm, in Gohtong Jaya here has been halted due to rain.
Hulu Selangor police chief Supt Suffian Abdullah said the SAR operation would continue at 8 am tomorrow depending on the weather conditions.
"The SAR operation to search for nine more landslide victims has been postponed tonight and will resume at 8 am tomorrow following unsuitable weather conditions," he told reporters at the incident location tonight.
So far 24 victims were confirmed dead, 61 rescued while nine are still missing in the incident.- BERNAMA
