Batman crews transform Glasgow into Gotham for sequel filming

Glasgow has once again been transformed into Gotham City as filming for The Batman: Part II gets underway.

Crews prepared Bothwell Street on Thursday evening (20 August), with other filming taking place in several locations in the city in August.

Batman fans eager to glimpse part of the action – or even the iconic Batmobile – lined the streets.

The Bavaria Brauhaus beer hall on the corner of Wellington Street has temporarily been turned into the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Gotham.

A glazing of snow covered the ground between Bothwell and Wellington Street, and Christmas wreaths decorated a “Gotham City” building.
