Bayern Munich have approached Newcastle United for Kieran Trippier.
BBC Sport says Bayern have expressed interest in the England fullback.
Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel is a fan of Trippier and would like to bring the Toon captain to Germany this month. Bayern already boast England teammates Harry Kane and Eric Dier.
The 33 year-old defender has 18 months to run on his existing Newcastle contract.
And Newcastle may be willing to sell given Financial Fair Play strains.
