Bayern Munich sports chief Hasan Salihamidzic admits defeat at Mainz yesterday wasn't good enough.
Questions are being raised about former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel after also seeing Bayern eliminated from the Champions League in midweek.
Salihamidzic said, "I didn't expect it.
"Now I have to talk to some players and try to understand. We have to defend ourselves more! We have to bring energy, physicality and strength in the tackles into the match.
"The responsibilities of the coach? It's hard to say. The coach must first get to know the team. We had suffered some defeats. Now we have to talk, analyze and make things better."
