Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has confirmed the appointment of Anthony Barry to his staff.
Bayern have paid 1m to Chelsea to prise away the assistant coach, with negotiations having occurred for a fortnight.
Tuchel confirmed: "He has just arrived.
"We really wanted him.
"He has a good personality, passion and quality. Whether it's details or set piece situations, I've never seen such a high level before."
Barry and Tuchel worked together for 100 games at Chelsea.
