Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel was left ruing the changes he had to make to his team at the last moment on Tuesday.
The recently installed head coach was unable to have much impact on his team in the Champions League.
Bayern went down 3-0 to Manchester City away from home in their quarter final first leg.
Tuchel was without striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who has been impressive this season.
Instead, he had to use Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman behind Jamal Musiala in attack.
While the players were bright as individuals, the game did not work out for Bayern, as their attacks often lacked cutting edge.
