BBC 5Live host ‘struggles to hold it together’ as she quits show after 15 years

  • BBC 5Live presenter Rachel Burden announced she is stepping down from the station’s breakfast show in January next year, after 15 years, alongside co-host Rick Edwards.
  • Burden became emotional on air, explaining that she felt it was time to 'poke myself out of my comfort zone' and 'do something new' due to shifting personal priorities.
