
In compliance with the directions of the Ministry of Power and under the guidance of Manoj Tripathi, Chairman, Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) is observing Swachhta Pakhwada-2026, from May 16 to 30.
As part of the observance, a series of cleanliness drives and awareness programmes are being organised across various BBMB establishments. Continuing the campaign activities, a Nukkad Natak was conducted by Transmission System Administration on Wednesday at the SLDC Complex of BBMB to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness in daily life as well as in government offices.
The programme aimed to inspire employees and the general public to actively participate in maintaining a clean, healthy and hygienic environment.
On the occasion, employees were also encouraged to adopt cleanliness as a way of life and contribute wholeheartedly towards the Swachhta Mission. It was emphasized that every citizen shares a collective responsibility in realising Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of a clean, healthy and hygienic India.
The event witnessed participation from nearly 300 officers and employees of BBMB, reaffirming their strong commitment to the nationwide cleanliness movement.
